Dear friends of Sindyanna,
Summer vacation is upon us! Here in Galilee, every afternoon, we enjoy a lovely sea breeze that cuts through the heat of the sun.
We are happy to report that our Fair-trade olive oil was awarded the gold medal at Terra Olivo 2012, the international competition of extra-virgin olive oils in Israel . This is the third time in a row that we've taken first prize! In addition, we report on our participation in the UK LUSH Festival 2012, and on our new agricultural project – the Scottish Olive Grove.
I am now preparing to participate in the Natural Products EXPO 2012, to be held in Baltimore USA from September 19 to 22. I am excited about communicating our message to many people there.

The Scottish Grove Project
In collaboration with the Scottish Church, Sindyanna has launched a new agricultural project called The Scottish Grove on 30 dunams of land owned by the Abu Hatum family from Yafi'a. The grove will help restore the soil, as well as nurture partnership among the participants. The planting is scheduled for September 8, 2012. Read more about the project.
